In the true maker spirit, we set out to make our own workbenches. Still unsure of our woodworking skills, we decided to build most of the frame from those-slotted-angle-iron-thingies-used-to-make-racks. The possibility of this struck us, thanks to the lovely workbenches at workbenchProjects. Will update it with pictures and progress soon.
